About Us
Chempaka Kuning is a new Malaysian company that practices organic farming based on Permaculture Principles and Ethics.
It will operate as a homestead, and possibly as an ecovillage, growing a variety of crops, fruit trees, rearing farm animals, and making edible products. There is a significant forested wild area adjacent to the property.
We strive to discover if organic farming can be a financially viable business. The company will publish accounts. We believe in sharing information. We are better together.
If organic farming is financially viable, Chempaka Kuning may develop an apprenticeship program (with the help of qualified people) to share best practices in permaculture design, organic farm management, and regenerative agriculture. We hope to help young people get started in organic farming.
We will collaborate with organizations involved in ecology-related work.
